When I was a kid I got my first Strat, and I loved the look of it so much I stood it up next to the bed so it would be the last thing I saw before I fell asleep and the first thing I saw when I woke up.

But sleep with it? Nah, that's weird.

I’ve met some legit, off their rocker types, this one had me actually scared a couple times. Namely when she accidentally dialed 911 on my phone then started moaning/groaning like her organs were failing as dispatch called my phone back. That was after she built a barricade out of pillows in front of my living room door to “keep the bad guys away”.

I've heard of soldiers sleeping with their weapon in combat zones - not barracks. That makes perfect sense.
