Anybody grabbed the Bogner Uberschall Ultra?

Got an online buddy that swears up and down the Rev Blue is the best Uber. Anyone here got comparisons?

Anyone I know who has played a Blue and an Ultra has always said the Ultra is better. I haven't played one myself, though. FWIW, I'm sure it is, because the Blue is my least favorite of the 3 Ubers I've played.

I unfortunately have not played a Blue but I have an Ultra and it’s the best high gain amp I’ver ever played.

Here’s a quick list of some high gainers I’ve actually owned and not just quickly played to have enough experience with to make the comparison.

lol! No because I have a sickness of wanting to try way too much gear. It’s stupid really. In all seriousness all of those are great amps but got sold to try something else. The ones of those I’d go back to would be the Deliverance or Carol Ann.

Interestingly on that subject… a rack mounted Mark 4 in early 1990’s was the first boutique amp I got. It was when the “Boogie” dealer in Nashville sold out of his house. I borrowed the money from my folks and spent the summer and winter paying them back.
