Any of you dudes get banned from TGP?..Why?

After the last two pages i was considering a new nickname and join TGP again. But then i thought .. fuck them. Most of them are old farts and often super condescending. I thought I might need the forum for the Helix stuff but it’s even better here (not condescending). Also, those mods … man o man.

Just to go slightly Off Topic, mercifuzziness
You are correct, seems like older people forget that they were once young and that they have become that old moldy foggie that harped at us when we were young.
I went thru my " Trendy Gear Train " ride when I was younger and have priorities more important than gear.
Several sites, I had conflict with "The Trendy Gear " crowd and I expressed my different view and some of the political sections on the sites .... BOOM , THE BAN HAMMER !!!!

Some older people are hypocritical/ stubborn and intolerant, while younger people seem to be stubborn, naive and still finding their feet in the walk of life .... doesn't matter if it's Gear, life choices or different views.
Older people can be wise, due to mistakes or the triumphs of life.
I say let youth live .... let them get their triumphs in life and make their own mistakes like we did when we were younger.

Also, and maybe just a bit young still, I can't imagine my dad (in his 70s) being super active on an on-line forum. But he is pretty active with woodwork, cars etc.

I think a lot of those are probably a bit lonely, so it's good there are places where these men can go and built that community for themselves. I can understand why somebody would want to protect that if its most that they have when it comes to interaction with other people.
