Another (cheaper) option is just to replace the front grill and Boogie badge with the Cali Tweed treatment.

30 years ago, before I upgraded my 50:50 power amp to the 2:90, Mesa sold a mod kit to make the 50:50 more Triaxis friendly.

I had no problem ripping it open, firing up my soldering station and adding / replacing the included caps and resistors.

A head shell swap should be easy-peasy.
