Posted this in the what you watching thread but I think it deserves a bit of it's own love. I don't jive with his too obvious for me love of the Foos (vocally speaking) but I love this kid nonetheless Good seeing him with a smile on his face as he plays this music \m/

Damn, I hate WVH Dude can play rock guitar, bass and drums like anything. Add to that that in basically any interview he is a really chill and cool guy. First I heard his name was a bass player of Tremonti and I thought "What a douche, calling himself VAN HALEN with last name". Imagine when I found out...

Wolf can play guitar like Ed, drums like Al and sing like Sammy.
And he also seems to have inherited none of the drama. Pretty impressive. While I can appreciate Mammoth for what they're doing, that style of music just doesn't do much for me.

I can second everything you said and I have to add: This is how music should be in the best case "Nah, X is good music, but it doesn't vibe with me". Totally alright. Quality and personal taste often are 2 different things.
