Winter NAMM 2026 predictions

I don't know. The Driftwood Atlas 180 sounds freaking brutal. Collab with Mark Lewis. Think that takes the cake for me but QC mini comes in on a close second.
But where the heck are you going to use that other than a stadium
The DZL Herbert was 150 watts and weighs like a metric ton
I don’t really think the market was looking for 180 watt amp heads
I could be wrong , but most are looking for compact boxes w bigger glass and iron

Agree... haven't seen any indication of what it would possibly be yet, so starting to assume it was just bullsh*t. If that does turn out to be the case it undermines trust in what is said on the forums, as it feels pretty self serving. Will give it a little more time, as I want to give benefit of the doubt. Maybe it is some update that was planned but hit a snag.

That said its not a good look. Only thing I have seen so far is a smart a** comment about an action figure.
CLIFF SUCKS!!!! 🤣😜

Is there any chance we get any more announcements on multifx units to be released? Or are we done?
I am kinda disappointed with the Mini QC as I was expecting something more affordable..

The one I am considering is Blackstar ID x floor; its tweakability is easy for people like me who don’t enjoy navigating menues.

I'm this close to ordering one next week. They're incredibly well priced (specially here in Europe)... and i really liked the sound demos so far.

ID:X Floor was the true underdog of this NAMM imho.
I prefer the clean and EOB sounds from blackstar compared to the ones in the Katana! I was on the fence with the IDX amp but now the Floor unit is more convenient in size! So I will probably get one.

If I hadn’t just gotten (and barely dug into) the AM4, I would be all over the “big” ID:X floor.

I am also digging the new Reverends - I was watching Danish Pete’s demo of the new Descent on his channel, and my wife (who was a bit gummied up) says “OH, I LOVE HOW THAT BARITONE SOUNDS - YOU SHOULD GET ONE!” :facepalm :ROFLMAO:

Fender doesn’t seem to have any plans to introduce another alternative to the Tone Master Pro, right? With Fender Studio, it feels like they’ve already covered that whole segment.

I don’t think so , unless someone is hiding a product but it is generally
Thursday Friday they reveal stuff
That being said some companies w have private booths and will show protos but that all NDA and not public facing

It's above 2022/2023 levels, but no hall E this year. You can definitely tell that many european exhibitors stayed away this year. If you're asking if it's back to 2020 levels, we'll probably never see that again.

It's all happening online now. Same reason why Musikmesse/Frankfurt vanished from earth.
If at all, we'll see smaller dedicated events in the future, such as Superbooth in Berlin or Guitar Summit in Mannheim.
