Winter NAMM 2026 predictions

And boom another company drops a multi effects thing with a huge touchscreen
Come on fractal jump on board give us an easy display to work out everything that’s in that beautiful unit
I mean at this rate 2026 2027 and there’s gonna be Everything‘s got a touchscreen /

I think we actually started the multi effects with a huge touchscreen thing in 2018, maybe others were doing back then as well. This one is 10.5" ;) plus no SHARCs in ours or tigers. Back then we were doing quad core ARM.

Could be a major functionality update, software, or AM4 has a touchscreen that was temporarily disabled 😁
He could do an AM8 with touch screen or FM
I don’t think it’s in the AM4 but I think that GUI would be what they would possibly use w a touch screen

If they made a touchscreen unit 2 months after releasing the AM4 without one, it would be a bad look imo. Not that they shouldn't but I'd really be confused why the AM4 didn't have a touchscreen.

Strandberg has started showing a new tremolo bridge design. Supposedly more travel than previous design.

ARC TILT Tremolo System

The revolutionary Arc TILT (Twin Incline Lever Technology) tremolo system utilizes an offset pivot point configuration, a unique tremolo block and baseplate design, and a new tremolo arm attachment to provide immaculate tuning stability, increased tremolo range, excellent flutter capabilities, and the smoothest possible tremolo action.

This is interesting. I like what the software is offering, but would rather see it incorporated into one of their stereo Bluetooth speakers.

Those are cool, and price isn't teeeeeerrible. Hopefully somebody tells them they swapped spec columns on accident sometime soon.

JBL has a whole band modeler / FRFR. The guitar tones were less than inspiring, but the concept is pretty neat.
