Under the board with midi control maybe, but yes it looks optimized for desktop use.

I was trying to piece together a stereo at a resale shop yesterday afternoon and there was a tapedeck with that same meter. It looked great

I wonder if there is really room for it between the QC and the nano in their product line. It's not that much different in size than either of them.

I want to think it sounds better in Chinese somehow.

The company trademark is registered to Premium Sound Asia Limited in Hong Kong and otherwise there's very little info about the Xrecer brand or the parent company.

All I wanted for this NAMM was a $200 pedal/desktop box/whatever able to handle full NAM models (and an IR in an ideal world?...) with an FX send/return.

I don't think that's possible with the current cpu load required for full NAM.
