Hey Blix, you might know. . So I had G12H 75 hz blackbacks for many years , and long story-short, I ended up replacing them with G12M-75hz Creambacks from 1974. I've never heard a Greenback or Blackback G12M from the 70's . . If they all were M/25 watters, and all were the 75hz model, how would the 3 kinds differ in sound?York's "Blackjack" IRs are G12H's. But this package should be bang on if they are 75hz, which of course isn't specified...

I'm no Celestion expert, not sure when they stopped using the Pulsonic cones, AFAIK the color of the plastic cap doesn't really mean anything, they're all "Greenbacks", but the cones my differ depending on the year. Ask Jim @ Scumback speakers.No problem! This probably isn't the place to ask that anyway, and I also figured the plastic caps didn't signify which cone, voicecoil or basket was used. It was just always interesting to me that they had the 3 colors
