Just curious about what people might be currently waiting for to get a Stadium (only in case they're interested in the device).

In my case, I don't need one right now as I have an LT and I'm not playing in a band for a while (I should be back to business in summer, hopefully), but I would have a harder time to control GAS if there was a Stadium Native and a good vocals harmonies block.

I think I would manage with the current Agoura amps, but I rest assured many more will arrive every year, so that's not an issue. And regarding bugs, I'm also sure 99% of them will be fixed in the following months, so the moment I pull the trigger, I doubt I'll have to worry about this.

Regarding effects, I would love to see new stuff (mostly delays, reverbs and fuzz), but it's not really preventing me from buying. And the mobile editor will be more than welcome when it arrives, but it's not a real need.

Finally, I don't really care about Proxy.

Inflation hasn’t brought my income up to match the price of the Stadium. That’s why I’m hoping for another 10 year life cycle on this box.

I'd like to see some more improvements in terms of a) usability, namels things such as global blocks and maybe an autosave feature, a mobile editor and what not and b) more "modern" things, such as a fresh suite of FX, ideally along with modulators.
My current setups allow me to play any gigs, so there's absolutely no need for me to purchase anything, the only incentive right now being that the form factor of the non-XL would allow me to use one setup for everything.

I'd defenitely love the touchscreen operation (finally no more fooling around on a computer), but that's not enough of a reason to spend quite some bucks. Showcase is nothing I'd ever use and while the Agoura models seem to be up my alley, I absolutely don't need better amp sounds, my Tonex Ones work just great.

So, no need, not enough incentives, that's about it.

For me it's about trying other brands' modeling and diversifying. I already have a Stomp XL and Native, which I love. I even have a POD express that is fun. I also have a Two Notes Opus and Genome, Fender Mustang and Rumble modeling plugins, TH-U plugin. Plus, now I have a Fractal VP4 and AM4, and soon the ICONS plugin. I feel getting a Stadium would be excessive (considering the price) and possibly redundant in many cases. And adding another piece of modeling hardware is not my priority now, I find plugin modeling useful and fun currently, and it suits my needs better. I'd definitely be interested in a Stadium Native at some point though.

That the non-XL hasn't shipped.

But other than that, I want to wait to see it get more updates. Whether that's more content, or fixes to the darker amp sounds some perceive.

I ended up picking the Fractal AM4 when a used one popped up, and I think I will ride this for a good while as it does enough for now. It is what I'd consider a mature product in terms of amps, cabs and effects - tons to choose from. It's too bad pitch and multitap delays are not on the menu though. But the only thing I truly want is some way to quickly switch between blocks when editing them. Which has been hinted as possibly coming in the next fw (double click page prev/next).

This, and I'll add, my Helix Floor still sounds great, so, there's no rush to replace it.

I traded for my Floor in 2018, for $850.00 + the GSP1101 I had at the time (he wanted something more simple). I haven't had a clear $2k to spend on ANYTHING, in many years.

Honestly, the only reason I'd replace my Floor with a Stadium, is size and weight, and really, the size of the Floor doesn't bother me.

I wish I'd never gotten one to be honest. I'm far more pissed off about the state of Stadium than I ever was Quad Cortex.

Ehhh... I've chilled out a bit now. Just had a rough day with it and lost almost 3 hours to a bug is all.

Money and lack of need. These days I think the most I need out of a modeler is something like the AM4 which I'll probably downsize to after selling my FM9. Lately I'm fine with an amp and a few pedals and that a do it all modeler actually adds unnecessary complexity. I simply don't need anything as large, complex and expensive as the Stadium, AxeFx, etc.....

(But maybe next year)

It’s really expensive.

The sounds I go for are just - not in line with what the sound designers at Line 6 seem to like. There are plenty of HX amps I’d happily use, but reverbs, rotary, tremolo, etc., are just not my cup of tea. And not in a “they’re no accurate” way but in a “I don’t like the sounds they’ve chosen to model” kind of way. So at this point, even if everything was up to Augora Spec or whatever, I’m just not interested in spending $1500 much less $2k+ on a Line 6 product.

Re: FX
I actually seem to prefer most effects on my Boss GTs. Which I actually never thought I would. But then, Boss *does* have some expertise in FX and it likely pays off. It's basically only some delays I miss from my HX days (and the drives, but I don't look at them as FX).

No side-chain control for the effects I want it for (pitch, ring mod) and too much redundant extras for stuff I already have locked in regarding playback of tracks and clicks and stuff.

I already had and returned a XL. While I liked lots of things about it, I just couldn’t justify the high cost given I already have a FM3 that does many things better. Maybe when it’s more fully developed I will revisit. Tariffs and inflation outpacing income also doesn’t help.

Other: not in the market for an all in one floor modeler. Waiting to see what kind of pedalboard friendly stomp successor they come up with.

I’ve got gear dripping out my orifices, the last thing I need is another modeler.

But the Showcase and Proxy functions are really appealing to me for solo/duo live use so I’m going to keep watching that space to see how it develops.
