Most casual consumers in a guitar store have never played a Fractal for a start. They only know about the mythology of it being top dog - which is not reality. They are deciding between Line6 or NeuralDSP for sure. But if they're price conscious, they're buying a Headrush before anything else.

I never claimed that Line6 DON'T do marketing. Even Fractal puts their products in the hands of YouTubers.

But I think NDSP does spend more on marketing based on what they put out.
