This place is great
Most have a pretty good sense of humor and people are not complaining to the mods like other forums , I have been here a couple of years and most people are cordial
Orvillian and Sascha called each other insufferable dicks once every few months but after a few pages it over

Yep, most of the regulars here are even-handed and own multiple brands of modelers. We still have our nitpickers but it's usually over interface control and workflow.

We like everything and complain about things in equal measure. It's reasonably balanced all things considered IMO. IK multimedia probably gets a bit more than their fare share but that's usually self inflicted.

A few folks have very specific beef with certain brands that may or may not be rational.

Most of the folks have sonic preferences and may state those pretty emphatically, but appreciate that not much of the gear sounds objectively bad at this point.

There are some folks that have some strong opinions about the objective accuracy of some modeling/profiling platforms, usually backed up by pretty strong evidence, but even those folks stop short of saying those things sound bad.

We shit on everything, even stuff we like. Not a place for people who adopted a brand into their family and put it in their will, lol. But, there aren’t too many safe words unless you’re talking about politics and someone will ALWAYS come in to wind the crank if someone is getting overly emotional about the conversation, lol. I love it, it’s like me and boys hanging out.

All in all, most people on here are pro-Fractal, some aren't as much :)
NDSP took an early shit kicking (but they did that to themselves) - some are getting over that.
Kemper takes a shit kicking too (also doing that to themselves since announcing v2 and keeping everyone waiting)
L6 is represented well, (Digital Igloo chimes in once in a while)

some of us try to stay neutral and try all of the devices, all in all it's a good group
