Sidetrack: how is that PM7? I am knee deep in a ToneLok kick right now. I have the delay coming today and the chorus coming on FridayView attachment 54243
Just finished running through some jazz standards for tonight’s jam session, on my 1960s Gibson ES-125. There were a few variations for the 125. This one has the thin body, no cutaway and two P-90 pickups. I strung it up with flat wounds quite a while ago but they aged well and still sound great. I had been playing a larger body archtop with round wounds for most of the year, but giving that a rest to play this for the next several months.
I haven’t used the PM7 much, and I also have the DE7. I like idea behind them and echo and phaser are my favorite effectors, but I picked them up on a whim. Now I’m going to start messing around with them!Sidetrack: how is that PM7? I am knee deep in a ToneLok kick right now. I have the delay coming today and the chorus coming on Friday![]()
I got the DE7 yesterday. So far; really nice delay pedal. I like the echo vs. delay variations. Definitely has different vibes between the two settings. Echo sounds smeary and kinda dark whereas the delay is nice and clear. Basically how I assumed it would be? The ToneLok Phaser (the PH7) is super syrupy sounding. It's a great phaser in it's own right.I haven’t used the PM7 much, and I also have the DE7. I like idea behind them and echo and phaser are my favorite effectors, but I picked them up on a whim.
