What Guitar Are You Playing At This Very Moment...

If you have experience with them, do you think Reverend are better value for money?

Just really hunting for a great P90 guitar right now.
I I've never played a Reverend or even seen one up close, but I suspect they are of similar build quality when compared with Rivolta.

If you are looking specifically for a great P90 guitar, you can't go wrong with a Gibson SG Special or Gibson Les Paul Special which are at a similar price point to Reverend and Rivolta.

Happy hunting!

All the Reverends I've played at CME have been great. Not much of a resale value from my limited time looking around at them though.

Well then hopefully it's a keeper.

If I even get it I mean. Obviously I won't know what I think of it 'til it's in my hands.

It's probably something most people find stupid. But I'm not interested LPs, SGs, and Stratocasters at all.

Everyone and their mother has one. I'm always on the lookout for something quirky, and a little different.

I am a fan of the Yamaha Revstar line. The RSS02T model retails for less than $1000.

A buddy of mine has a Guild Aristocrat P90 that he bought used for less that $500 that plays wonderfully and has some aggressive sounding high output P90s that can work for almost any musical style.

You have already mentioned Reverend. I have no experience with them, but I have had my eye on a few of them in the past.

I think the only thing that could be arguable for me are their headstocks. They have some really nice Strat and Tele shapes but really most all of their models have an aesthetic all their own. Resale might be better too in places other than the middle of small town midwest nowhere? That Charger looks great. P90s are always a great add too :love
