I found a weird track me and a buddy started years ago that just had drum and vocal samples from session chatter.. I was noodling on the CE24 along to it and also added a bass line.. it's kinda dumb, but was fun

lol. I had to go back and check what’s at :27.
That skipping the 16th on the downbeat was feeling so alien when I first started to take lessons from Don Mock back in the days.

I always wanted a semi hollow body with a bigsby and a natural finish, so I grabbed this Gretsch last week. The bridge that it came with is a rattly POS, I just replaced it with this $20 roller bridge from amazon, I was expecting to have to return it and buy something more expensive, but it is actually really nice and solved all of the problems I had with the stock bridge. Also put a fresh set of 9s on it and it plays beautifully now. I am impressed by the fretwork on this guitar, the fret ends feel really nice.

Other than the times you've mentioned him, and a few vids i watched, I'm not very familiar with his playing or teaching? I'll have to check him out more though!

I’ve spent a week with my new ESP and it’s dumb but I feel guilty that the Hollowbody hasn’t been played in a while, so I gotta fix that lol “it’s ok, you’re very special too, this one is just new!”
