Reason I ask is in the early 2000's I got to use a brand-new one for a month, straight from the factory, courtesy of my bass player who knew the head of artist relations. I had been griping about how the best guitar would be the sustain of a LPC, married with the playability of a PRS, and they'd recently started building the SC, and my bass player just showed up at rehearsal with one for me to use!

It was Burgundy Tiger Eye, 10-top, and hands-down the finest guitar I'd played up until then.

I can't for the life of me remember exactly what year it was, but I think it was just like yours.

This is a 2000. First year of production.
 
I’m still playing my PRS SE Hollowbody - which is different enough from the US models to not give me FOMO. This is my favorite guitar, ever - better than my Elite Strat and my Majesty which I’d put at #2 and #3 tied. Just everything about this guitar is knocked out of the park, especially after I installed locking tuners
