What Guitar Are You Playing At This Very Moment...

Who gives a flying fart what you look like, I don't look like Michael Schenker when I strap on the V. I'm 67 and follicaly challenged on top of the old swede. If you ever fancy the urge to get one, go for it!
V's are too cool to ignore...... unless it's a Chibson,
Whoops, did I really say that? 😂😂😂😂😂
This may help since you are follicaly challenged
Schenker approved 😆

First saw him back in '76, with UFO. Seen him about 8 or 9 times over the years, most recently last year. He's one of my all time top guitarists 🤟
I saw UFO a few times in 1976 in England France & Italy if my memory serves me well ?
Yours does look like a Chibson 🤣

Eastman Romeo, the carved solid top version.
Bit of an oversized hollow T style, super light weight & thin top. (I like light build archtops cause of their acoustic sound/snappy response), excellent playability. Special about the sound is the top end.

My musical life toggles between traditional jazz and bluesy/funky stuff…I got this one for the occasions where an archtop doesn’t fit cause I’ll need an overdrive, and a solid body is not “jazz” enough.
And it’s does that perfectly, first hollow I like played with an overdrive!

He is clearly seeking attention and wants everyone to like his posts as he bullies the other guy or bot or whatever, while he thinks it's funny...except that it's not!

I don't actually agree. Whether someone likes Andy or not, it is irrefutable that he brings ton of useful information and
experience here, and shares it freely.

I like @Eagle . I personally pushed and requested he get his own thread here. So, maybe I am biased on the side of expertise. :beer

Years ago I had Derek Trucks Sig SG that I loved, and it took a dinger when the singer
in our band got overexuberant messing around on a break and yanked it straight off
its stand and onto the garage floor. I saw it happen and couldn't stop it. It was brutal,
and when he is an ass to anyone in the band I remind him of that moment. :hmm

Miraculously the guitar was fine, except for one dinger on the edge of the headstock. :idk

I had to end up selling the guitar, because it was never the same in my eyes. :(

I have seen so many guitars over the years take tumbles that I am OCD about how
they are handled. Even if they are not my guitars. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Make sure not to leave them out in the cold overnight, or in a hot locked car during the
day, too.

After a few close calls, I got so paranoid about my "precious" ones, I stopped using stands during rehearsals/jams, and if they weren't being played (by me) they stayed in their "latched" case.

This also led me to leaving certain guitars at home (studio only!), bringing only the minimum, when it would have been awesome to bring/play the best...
