What Guitar Are You Playing At This Very Moment...

Gonna need some deets on that please
It's one of the first PRS McCarty 594 Private Stock instruments (second batch) built before the the "core" 594 was made available.

It's was the first PRS ever made with the finish called "Olive Smoked Burst".

Does the strings touching the back of the tunamatic give you bigsby issues?
Before reading your question, I would have thought "no", but I've always had issues with binding at the nut on the B string.

After your question, I now understand why I couldn't fix that issue. It's not the nut; it's the trailing edge of the bridge. So the real answer is "yes, but only on the B string."

Thanks for diagnosing this 6 year old issue. :facepalm

I realized that I despised restringing the Bigsby since my first attempt, so I got a Vibramate Spoiler to make it easier.

Now I have a new reason to rage against the bigsby.

"F U, I wont restring my Bigsby!"

:rofl

There is contact, but no visible angle deflection. Can I file clearance slots to work around the issue?

You may be better finding a roller saddle with clearance because that is a sharp angle up to the bridge. I can’t imagine it’s going to work properly without a roller.

Thank you! Any suggestions on an acceptable roller bridge replacement?

Well, at this very moment I'm typing, I'm not playing any guitar, but last night, and tonight, and many future nights I'll be playing this one. Literally, that's my AT100 AT is holding--had it out for a refret and he happened to stop by the workshop of the guy that was doing it and the guy kindly asked Andy to hold it for a pic, and AT kindly agreed). I've got 2 guitars I consider my #1 and I rotate between them every few months.

BiggsFix usually fixes those kinds of issues...
