What Did You Do With Your Guitar(s) Today?

Put new strings and setup my new LTD EC-1001T silverburst. It has the Seymour Duncan Nazgul/Sentient set in it. I haven't had a chance to try it out plugged in, but I instantly like it more than the EC-1000T charcoal burst I got from Sweetwater that had the wrong pickup in the bridge and botched wiring.

I loved them. :love

They are good souls brought into this often nightmarish world to awaken the sleeping conscience
and decrepit divinity of humans who have forgotten the mystery of our fatal origins, while pretending
we own them, or that we exist forever.

And tomorrow I will love them some more. Because they deserve it! And we only have this short time together.

I'm amazed at how much quieter my Synergy Syn-2/Fryette Power Station PS-2A setup is now that I've adjusted the ground lift switches on both units. Night and day difference and almost completely silent, even with a ton of gain. After I did that, I adjusted the noise suppressor on my Boss GT-1000 Core to have a lower threshold setting.

I swapped the Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic Bridge pickup I received in the mail today and also used some Dunlop lemon oil on the fretboard of my LTD EC-1000T that was screwed up (wiring and it had two Fishman Fluence Classic Neck model pickups).

I took the actives out of a Tyler the other day.

A hollow older model (about 15 years).
Not mine obviously because I like the stock tones .
I converted it to EJ Strat wiring with a coil tap on the button.

I can’t even fathom taking that out of my Tylers.
15 years ago was it already Gil building?

I like the old ones that were actually Jim built.

Me too but the newer ones are a little more perfect which I suppose is necessary considering the price now.

Tracked som guitars for a friend today. It's typical Norwegian "Danseband" music. He asked for a more busy solo at the end, I delivered! :D

Also got to use some Huff/Landau-ish DI tones with tons of compressor and detune, fun!

Sounds like 80s Rush at the start, and the bit with the singing over the lead guitar sounds like NJPW Theme #75-B.
