I have never played a metronome! Are they difficult to learn?

I put it down and walked away. Didn't matter which guitar I used and whether I played loud or quiet it all just sucked. I know it's all in my head and if I play another day with the same gear and settings it will probably sound great. Makes more sense to walk away when I'm in that kind of mood.

I was getting ready to turn in for the night last night when I decided to plug in and play for a bit, realized in the process it’s a perfect way to end a weekend before waking up to a Monday. Just an hour or so of chill noodling, not trying to get anything done or ideas out, kind of a decompress of the brain. Really want to make this a regular thing, it was closer to a meditation than anything.

I've been living in keyboards, synths, and saxophone land for the last few months and barely have touched any of my guitars. But today, I pulled out a trusty steed for a video project I'm starting to work on. The T5z is an amazing instrument.

Did a vid lesson for the 18 year old shred girl. Her alternate picking is pretty solid already. And so is her time when doing that.
But she needs to work on her legato/economy picking and also staying in time when the pick strokes are weird. So also recorded that etude that’s pretty much only picking when there’s a string change.

Cleaned off sweat from my main V and polished her… now she shines with pride.
Also, swapped stings on one of my other guitar. Could not be arsed to tune tho… Ill do it tomorrow hahah
