Loaded and unloaded my gear for band practice without throwing out my back!!!!
Had another great practice Saturday, though this time the guitarist and drummer had some critiques for what I came up with- “I dunno man, it seems like you’re holding back”
Me- “I’m just trying not to step all over the song”
Singer/guitarist- “STOMP ON THEM! GO CRAZY!”
I thought I was already doing a bit much here and there but apparently not! They want more shred and more crazy sounds!

They definitely need to be deliberate in their wording because I have more experience wanking my noodle than I do wanking and noodling and it seems they want a lot of one of those!

I've got Whammy stuff all over the place already, it's always active across all my presets. I might end up using the Freqout because I'm using controlled feedback in one song now. I was itching to put it into a song because I haven't gotten to use it like that in years and we get to crank up pretty loud, but if we ever gig anywhere we get shit for the volume I'll need the Freqout.
Both the vocalist and drummer had sections they heard divebombs in, since I'm using my Solar w/ the Evertune I'm doing the Dimebag divebombs grabbing a natural harmonic and pulling it up and dropping it back down with the Whammy pedal, I just can't go down!
My only Floyd guitars are my JEM and 7-string, I attempted ADADGCFAD but it wasn't working. Just means I gotta get one of these even faster!

I moved a load of guitars in cases to a new place to make some space so I can get four of these String Swing systems on a wall.

Here's a little peek behind the curtain on how I work out solos-
This is probably the 4th iteration of this, initially there wasn't anything over the top in it, it worked but it was boring so I've slowly figured out how to overplay every motif or phrase I had previously. This is the general flow I want it to go in, I just have to execute it properly.

I decided to finally figure out why the fuck my Tao 6 with BKPs doesn't sound near as good as my Apocalypse with BKPs.
I know they're not the same model with the former being War Pigs, and the latter being Nailbomb but, JFC, BKPs just don't sound a mile apart on any shoot outs out there.
The War Pigs just sounded like the audio equivalent of double-vision.
So I picked up the fucking Apocalypse and looked at the pickup from every fucking angle then, took a screwdriver and put it to the fucking Tao and twisted that mother fucker until the pickup's true tone came into focus.
Then I played a scrotum-arbrasing riff.

Wow. I've seen people play right handed guitars upside down, with their teeth, guitar behind their back and even with their feet holding a slide but never with their scrotum. Sounds pretty uncomfortable tbh.
