What are your personal all-time Top 5 albums?

1. Tool - Lateralus.
2. ISIS - Panopticon.
3. ISIS - In The Absence Of Truth.
4. Tool - Aenima.
5. The Prodigy - Music For the Jilted Generation.

This list changes daily!

Dood. I feel like not enough people know about ISIS. (What a fortunate name that proved to be :ROFLMAO: ) Panopticon is such a brilliant album.

At the mid 80's I played in a Prog Rock band and I named it EISIS. It means E double sharp in German.

Browsing my Collins Gem Dictionary of Music I came with that name, and all the band members liked it.

1. Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV
2. ZZ Top - Tres Hombres
3. AC/DC - Back in Black
4. Metallica - Master of Puppets
5. The Beatles - White Album
Other honorable mentions…just because they have some special meaning or memories, Etc.

Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic
David Lee Roth - Eat ‘Em and Smile
Jane’s Addiction - Nothing’s Shocking
Rush - Moving Pictures
Def Leppard - Pyromania

And these names are familiar, but not the music: :whistle

Tool, Primus, Suicidal Tendencies, Muse, Styx
I heard a Muse song I really liked on the radio while at work, so I dug them up on You tube, came across this concert, and was hooked. Something about their use of tech, the awesomeness of the show, and the musical diversity, not to mention Matt's immense talent and stage persona.

Maybe it'll do the same for you. (Oh and don't judge it by just a few songs. They are diverse.)

Oof, that’s hard. Here’s the list for today:

Blackwater Park - Opeth
Fleet Foxes (1st album)
Wavering Radiant - ISIS
Lateralus - Tool
Diamond Life - Sade

Bonus: The Universe Smiles Upon You - Khruangbin

Wait a minute! You forgot about:

The Trials of Van Occupanther - Midlake
For You - Tatsuro Yamashita

Still thinking about my top 5, but the Midlake album is definitely in there.

Frank Zappa - Roxy and Elsewhere
Pink Floyd - Dark side of the moon
Led Zeppelin - II
Metallica - Master of puppets
Dire Straits - Dire Straits

Is really difficult to choose 5. 5 are obviously not enough.

Train of Thought- Dream Theater

Interesting choice. I like that album a lot but is "unusual" to see it on a top5

Lateralus - Tool

A true masterpiece

Jeff Buckley ~~ Grace
Temple Of The Dog ~~ Temple Of The Dog

Awesome stuff. I love them so much.

Primus - Frizzle Fry

Great choice. Definitely my favorite Primus record

Mr. Bungle California

Love that one

Porcupine Tree In Absentia
Muse Absolution

I really love those albums and bands.

These aren’t the best albums, and they don’t have the best songs, but they are the most important albums with all of the right songs.

Outkast - ATLiens
Sasha and Digweed - Northern Exposure Vol 2 East Coast Edition
Stone Temple Pilots - Core
Bass 305 - Bass - The Future
Pixies - Bossanova
