What are your favourite compressor plugins?

I can't help but wonder if it is a bit of a backdoor, data-mining freebie.

It requires an account, so...yes.

Companies you like trying to sell you stuff isn't the worst thing in the world. It still gets annoying after a while, especially when everybody and their goldfish releases a video whenever they release a product too. Though...I guess that doesn't happen with plugins as much. It's almost like people don't care as much about them.

As to the OP, I'm a huge fan of Pro-C2 and FirComp for general compression duties. For mastering, I like Unisum. The control it gives is on another level from basically every other wide-band compressor.

It's iLok and based upon the agreement (I actually read all of it) they can see your iLok library, but cannot take any action without your permission.

So they can see your other plug ins that use iLok. Not really much different than other companies using iLok.

Logic is what I'm using today - trying to learn. There are a few that are fairly easy to adjust and they sound good.

The ones in logic are super useful. I also like the ones in Ozone 11.
