I gave that post the poo emoji because of the look on Heston's face, just to be clear!

'Tis the season it seems!
This is such a killer Album. Richie is a stud. Love his tones and playing.
Cherrypicking a few riffs and licks.
Love how he'll do an arpeggiated passage during a Chorus where most
guys would just double-down on chuggy Power Chords.
Recorded these 2 tracks today. Moody ambient/soundscape style -- kind of sums up the way I've felt all week being sick, but today starting to get over the hump.I'm working on some soundscape stuff today. Honestly haven't played too much guitar this week, been under the weather since Monday and just now feeling 'ok' but still tired. Luckily I've been off work though, although it sucks to spend the time sick. So working on soft synth stuff is a bit more approachable this week.![]()
Very nice FA! I can hear Fripp and Eno tapping their toes to these ;~)) Happy New Year!!!
Sweet, soothing sounds. Glad you are feeling better and on the up and up, FA!![]()
Finally a day offFinally had a complete day off and no chores to boot, worked on hand stretches, scales, muting, new theory crafting tone on my Fractal for my next project/goal, and yes I enjoy crafting and deep diving parameters
Still shedding away at descending “fives” (EJ, Bonamassa, etc.) and two note per string runs. Starting to show gains, but they’ve always been my weakness, so I’m slowly getting there.
Still this, among other things. The two-note-per-string and “fives” shedding continues. Another breakthrough this weekend.
Adjusting how I hold my pick (holding it looser) has yielded huge gains! Coincidentally, it has also improved both my three-note-per-string alternate picking AND economy picking.
Very challenging. And very familiar.![]()
Maybe you need to put those riffs in a spreadsheet to get up to speed on themLove Vinnie, Neo Classical at its best IMO, Challenging you say ? man I'm not even close to getting there
