I was supremely annoyed that the anniversary show for Act III they played local-ish to us was on one of our recent snowpocalypse weekends and we couldn't go!

This outstanding album by the late great Michael Hedges on the black stuff.

I don't know if I listened to it or not? I know the last song I really grabbed on to was "Win Hands Down". John Bush is one of the GOATs in my book. He's doing his Anthrax era mini-tour in Chicago-ish tomorrow night and I am really trying hard to forget about it since I am not goingThat last Armored Saint Album was total fire!![]()
Been on a John Bush kick as of late. Because he's awesome. This song is not thrash at all. But it speaks to me

Prime Rollins Band on the drive into work. Something to get the blood pumping.
Rollins Band are a very tight, skilled unit that should've got way better kudos than they ended up getting. The 'Weight' and 'End of Silence' albums especially. So I listened to Black Flag back in the day but never ventured beyond Liar on the Rollins Band. This has some SKILL in the musicianship and the writing choices are different than what I would normally associate with Rollins. I should dig into his stuff beyond Black Flag a bit more \m/
