That's cool. I found a group online called Hammerhedd, who sound great, only to find out that they went in some weird, poppy direction more recently. That was a big load of bleh!

What makes it even more murky is vocalist/guitarist and drummer from Gruesome tour with Rick Rozz and Terry Butler as the band Left to Die doing early covers of Death songs. It's cool but just kind of confusing They do a GREAT job with it as well.

I really liked the first Hammerhedd songs they put out. Young kids, doing a sort of Prong type of vibe? These last songs I have heard from them are NOT my bag at all. I get it I guess but just not my thing.

The stuff I heard was more 80s Sepultura and 90s Death esque. Apparently, they do stuff that is very poppy now, and is a very drastic mood shift from the previous stuff. Not keen on it at all.

Someone on another forum just reminded me of this tune. I recalled when it was in heavy rotation on the radio in the 1970s. Great funk, jazz, rock crossover jam.

THIS songs needs a metal makeover, imo. Be cool AF!
