I thought we've chatted this before? I came across Screamager vid on 120 minutes back in the day? Fucking killer album. Like if there was the most perfect pop punk/metal crossover. The album after this kics ass as well

Yes I remember now, man I'm an idiot. I adore those albums. Andy Cairns the singer and guitarist used to work for my dad. My dad said he was always wandering about stoned and didn't have a clue what was going on. Apparently he used to tell him he'd never achieve anything

Occasionally Morgan Wallen lands in my recommended listening even though I never listen to country, but sometimes I really dig it. There's a lot of neat guitar work being done that's not always stock cliche parts (I know Bukovac is all over those sessions). Just now realizing maybe part of why he's got a compelling voice is that he reminds me of Jonny Craig sometimes. He's more of an R&B singer in a non-R&B genre and has a kind of raspy edge to his voice. Wish they'd put the brakes on leaning so heavily into the pop/R&B cliches though (which applies to all modern genres).
