I wasn't big on Dez's previous band but this album in particular was a great mix of groove and new wave of American metal at the time.

I held off from Devildriver for years because I assumed it would be Coal Chamber PT II and I was certainly wrong about that. A lot of mornings on my drive into work I’ll just pick a random DD album and blast the sh*t out of it, one of my favorite bands to air drum to at stop lights!

Such a great album from this iconic band. Top to bottom it delivers
with great songs, hooks, performances, and timely lyrical content.
