What are you driving?

In my entire life, I haven't owned a single car. I've rented or borrowed one if needed.

Public transport works well in the cities I've lived in so no real need to own a car. If I moved to a smaller city or in the countryside, I'd definitely need a car.

I really wish we had better public transport here. They’re working on it, but it’s got a long ways to go.

Right now looking at maps, to get to the theater where I’ll be playing, it would take me 46 min to drive or 192 min to take public transport :wat

My daily driver is a '24 Subaru Outback. The fun car is an '85 Corvette

The Corvette didn't get a ton of love this year, but I'm hoping that will change next year.

My wife drives a 24 Forester - it's better in the snow than my Tacoma in 4WD lol

I went from a sporty hybrid Honda CR-Z to a smaller gas engined Daihatsu Taft. Gets good mileage without needing a battery.

I wanted a glass roof, but the choices were limited, so the moonroof on the Taft was a factor, along with the more upright seating.

Only got a daily driver, my mother in law gave this car to me recently as she can’t drive anymore and thought I should have it.

Its a….
Well… some dude called Adolf back in the day decided to create a car company and named it “people’s wagon”… clever shit right there. And it’s a good car company (except for that thing a few years ago about the lying about some stuff that led to massive amounts of cars piling up in America unable to be sold).

2011 VW Golf Variant, 95/E85 engine. I never use ethanol though… as it doesn’t make a difference at all.
