What are we watching now?

Started watching Bad Monkey on Apple TV. Vince Vaughn playing Vince Vaughn as a detective (well; health inspector). If you dig what he does; it's good. Single season so you know it's one and done up front. Good cast, good rapport and good sense of humor while doing the murder mystery thing.

Yeah I enjoyed that one, brain out of gear. Pretty funny in places.

Just finished DTF St. Louis last night. Man, the more the episodes went on, the weirder the show got, lol. Still, great acting, I thought, and it did keep me engaged the entire time.

Oh, and, she might be "older", for some of us here, but, Linda Cardellini is fucking hot, at least, IMO.

Finished up Bad Monkey. Little long but seeing there is another season brewing is good.

Re-Watched Blade Runner 2049 last night for some odd reason. I really like Denis Villeneuve (other than Dune which I will never watch because I just don't have the patience for it) and made it all the way through. Great vibe overall and good from the POV of someone who doesn't hold the original as sacred text other than another banger with Rutger Hauer.

The more we watched it; the more I was scratching my head. I liked it but her character was super irritating and I still wound up feeling not sure on how much of a part she played even though we know who "did it"

Watched Eurotrip over the weekend when I had a friend over, haven’t seen that movie since it came out on DVD and thought it was one of the better raunchy teen comedies from that time period, it just came out after so many others. While I didn’t bust a gut laughing like I did when I first saw it, it did catch me a few times.

I have a million movie quotes I throw into conversation all the time, the most common one would be “Do you undastand?” from Kill Bill-

At some point this ‘robot laugh’ got tossed in there and I totally forgot where I had gotten it from or that it even came from a movie-

At one point I was a walking collection of Kevin Smith movie quotes but for some reason I stopped repeating them when I got a “real” job. :rofl

Weird coincidence. Got some "Whatever Happened to Eurotrip?" vid in the recommendation feed the other day. I put it on my to watch list as I am not sure if I did ever catch it back in the day? I will be watching the full Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair when it comes to one of the 37 streaming subs I have here later in May :satan

Yeah weird but in a straight-forward way if that makes sense. Plenty of misdirection to keep you interested.

Hahahahahah that little documentary is actually what spurred me to watch it again! I watched it last week and mentioned it to my friend who practically knew the movie word for word. I had totally forgotten that woman Michelle Trachenburg (sp?) passed away last year, too bad.

It’s definitely worth the watch, there’s like a sigh of relief I have when I watch one of these 90’s flicks, like “Ah yeah, remember this time period? Before everything got serious and everyone going to see this movie knew everything in it was a joke….”

OG Road Trip was great. That was a golden time in comedies; even though they were all dumb

Just finished How To Get To Heaven From Belfast. Really enjoyed it, what might be called a dark comedy but also quite sad in places.
I wondered about this one as the title sounded interesting. have to put it in the queue.

Watched new Charlize Theron thing over the weekend and it was dumb but a good watch nonetheless!
