What are we watching now?

I looked on Paramount+ earlier just to see what time it was on, and there it was.

I just saw an ad for it while watching the football game. I was actually waiting for a date and they said available now!

Game over, going to take a shower, smoke a bowl and watch Landman, lol...

One episode left of Beast in Me. These limited series seem to take a familiar arc, no matter the overall story. Build up/build up/build up/flashback/finale. I like that method? Excited to finish it up this evening \m/

I just started watching it last night. On episode 1.

Watched Blue Ruin again last night. Crime thriller from early 2010s. Excellent revenge flick with not a lot of talking or filler. Great movie. Also started Hannibal back up. Such a great show \m/

So in season 3 of Hannibal. This show is a masterpiece (if you can handle the subject matter, obviously). Excellent acting, killer score and storyline. Cinematography and visuals are awesome as well. The whole, high-def soap opera shots combined with the viscera contrasted with the (GROSS) culinary beauty is really something to see if you haven't already. All these American Horror Story gross out turds have NOTHING on this show. So damn good on every level.

Yeah it's an absolutely beautiful show all the way through. Everything from set design to lighting to visual fx to costumes to actor performances.

So many FANTASTIC performances. I forgot how good Michael Pitt was as Mason Verger!

Man it's been like 10 years - yeah this show was a rare gem back then.

Also caught Train Dreams the other night. Loved it, but ugh, brutally sad. Which is why I loved it, probably...

Watching House of Guiness now. And quite enjoying it despite the initial "trying way too hard to be Peaky Blinders, which was itself trying way too hard to be Peaky Blinders" impression.
