What are we drinking now?

I drank tea at a friend's baby shower recently. She is a painter and has travelled for a while.

It was served cold, I don't know about the kind. It tasted nice. But I don't wanna drink it again.
Sweet iced tea is big here in the south. I grew up drinking that, never hot tea.
As I've gotten older I have to have it mostly unsweetened, or I'll just make some hot green or black tea with a smidgen of honey.

Now that I think about it, it did have a hint of honey. If it would have had more sugar and/ or had more honey, I would have loved to drink it again.

My friend and the singer in our band has been home-brewing beer
all this past winter. He'll bring samples to practice from time to time.

My dad and I did this a few times many years ago, it was fun.

I still have all the equipment, gotta give it another whirl one of these days

Wow! That's cool. :beer

I get the homebrew breakdown at band practice and usually remember 3% of what
he told me. :lol I do remember that bit about putting a dash of sugar in when you bottle,
so that when you crack the top it re-carbonates itself.... or something like that. :idk

The yeast eats the sugar which creates alcohol and c02
