What are we drinking now?

Just came back from a ski(snowboard) trip in Europe. Way too much good food, wine, and beer. The wife and I are doing a dry month. Already on day five. The trip was soooo much fun, but taking time off from that stuff also feels great. :beer

Interesting replies to a straightforward but deceptively simple question. I haven’t had any alcoholic beverages in decades, so I assumed something other than beer, etc.

At the moment we’re drinking a black tea blend consisting of three components: straight forward black tea (Ceylon, for example), Earl Grey, and cardamom tea. Apparently, one component is for taste, one for aroma and one for color, although not sure of the mixture. What I know as a tea novice is that unlike other black teas, for which I always add milk / cream and brown / white sugar, this blend I drink straight.

My favourite tea was Earl Grey with no milk.
Drank it for decades until I had to give it up when I stopped smoking because it was at trigger .
Only drink one double espresso a day now.

I dried out for the month of January. Didn't sleep better. Didn't have the sex of my life. Didn't
become instantly famous or insanely wealthy. Didn't miss it as much as I thought either. :idk

Not a Prude or Puritan going forward. I know that much. :cheers

Haha! I ended up drinking 5 of them Bad Boys! :guiness

Sometimes I blame life's challenges on beer, sex, weed, coffee, music, food, and all the other
great things in Life that I appreciate so much.

I'd make an horrific Nun. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It was fun to dry out for a bit, reset, and then realize I really do enjoy Beer. I doubt I ever
have it in my to become a lush. I tried really hard during the Pandemic and was pretty
successful. Just not my vibe.

All things in moderation---even moderation. :beer

I'm having a Craigellachie 13 and a pale ale of some sort while watching the spinny thing on ToneZone3000. Living my best life right here!

I drank tea at a friend's baby shower recently. She is a painter and has travelled for a while.

It was served cold, I don't know about the kind. It tasted nice. But I don't wanna drink it again.
