A recently-serviced 70's Peavey "Century 120 Bass Series" head that I got for cheap yesterday.
With my 8 ohm 2x12" cab, power is down to 50-60W, but BLOODY MURDER this thing PUSHES like there's no tomorrow.
Very unique growl. I'm a fan of the simple layout. Color me impressed (and blown away).

Touché....Touché....they are fantastic amps. But playing the Louis Electric today reminds me why the Columbia is IMO one of the greatest BF sounds ever. Just incredible.Two rock amps I avoid trying ..cos I’m afraid it’s gonna cost me

It's been BluGuitar Amp 1 Iridium vs Mesa Mark V 90 over here. I think they are a lot more similar than the Amp 1 Mercury.
Hard to pick a favorite. I like the Iridium Vintage channel better than Mark V ch2, but the Mark V ch3 is a bit different beast that I enjoy too.

Crab Marcus tonight
Doing a “supergroup”
gig tomorrow under the name “Crab Pit” and @JiveTurkey pointed out it would be foolish to use anything other than the crab 
Had the one and only rehearsal tonight and used it and it sounded killer
Maiden crab voyage tomorrow!!

I'm so tempted to pick up an Iridium. In addition to many other uses I think it would make a great portable backup amp.
But having just picked up a Catalyst and a Tone King Imperial Preamp I'm feeling like I need to dial it back on gear expenditures, Still, I've been looking at the Iridium for a while now and when that happens I usually end up eventually taking the plunge.

I wish I had picked one up earlier. I tried one like two times at different occasions and never liked it for some reason, but maybe I was just trying to dial it how I use the Mercury and that doesn't quite work the same.
It's a lovely amp for rock/metal. Still don't love the Modern channel on either Amp 1 really, but the other channels are all great.
The line out makes it also really easy to record since you can disable the analog cab sim and use IRs, which you can't do on the Mercury unfortunately. The analog cab sim is fine, but really more of a "give it to FOH" type deal than "I'm going to make my new album with this".

Sounds great!! Played nice with my dirt pedals and cut through and sounded great in a dense mix
Jamming, wild cherry, Kylie minogue, metallica, etc. sounded great for all of it

First time I recorded the tone - sounds a little muddier than I'd like but I'm still tweaking.
