Welcome To The Nightmare: Cable Management Suffering & Their Solutions

Gutsy move running audio cables outdoors - a few years ago the wiring insulation and rubber in the engine compartment of my wife's new car (in a carport) was eaten by (presumably) squirrels or other creatures when we were out of town for a weekend, something I wouldn't have expected!

You might want to look into some type of protection for the cabling (mine's indoors so I've never looked into whether it exists).

Protection for Squirrels you say?

But yeah, maybe some conduit runs would be a good idea. Just in case. Hard to shoot in a
crawlspace.

Nah. If squirrels getting in your crawlspace is a possibility, I'd dare to say you should probably address that problem.

I ruthlessly eliminated the Pine Squirrel issue from a few years ago with clear intent, and a
calculating heart.

Ever since I have had those lovely Fox and Black Squirrels back in the yard and trees. :banana

They are fine. It's only the Chipmunks and Pine Squirrels that have that cunning conspiracy with the
Devil to damage and cause chaos.
