Uber Ultra fast death metal

Low tuning is absolutely not = heavy. It can add some weight if the riffs are there? Beyond my own Limp Bizkit influence one of the things I like about C# is it is lower but not too low where I feel like I have to start fighting a ton of mud in the low end to get riffs to cut through.

Also, not that it made a huge difference or anything but very slight. I put a Sovtek LPS in the PI slot. Have 2 of the China silver dragon 12ax7 and also ordered 3 of the higher tier, high gain, matched, etc JJs and put them in random slots.

Hard to remember but going off the pics the Silver Dragons are in V1 and V3.

Settings below, I find with this amp for me at least the louder i go the more I have to dial back the eq controls to keep a similar sound.

We have them dialed pretty similar, except I don’t have the depth and gain cranked. I have those at 1oclock and 11oclock respectively.

I’ll have to try diming the gain, “for science”.

I've been seeing a lot of people say the Uber Ultra can't do fast death metal so I wanted to put it to the test.

I had not herd that one, I'd say they are people that have not spent any time with the amp. I really love this amp and feel like it can do clean to doom as good as other stacks of amps or better than most stacks.

I know my special ed and honeymoon phase, even though today is 1 month in might taint my opinion but when I play my other amps I don't enjoy them as much anymore and end up back on the uber.

Hair + is where it's at and yes.....it can take months to learn this amp inside and out. There's so many ways to shape its crazy.
