Two Tonex Capture Questions

I need to do some onsite captures this week of some old amps. Last time I did this it was pretty frustrating, hopefully there's some improvements now

1: Can I record the captures then turn them into final captures later, or do I still have to capture, then let it do its thing for forver then do the next capture still?

2: Which would render the captures faster, i7 10750 with a 2070M or a macbook pro M1?

you can trick the software into training later, you just have to locate the file and switch them at the appropriate time. It’s fiddly, but possible.

I’d shoot a NAM model at the same time as a fail safe. Even if you have to do a second generation model, it’ll be better than nothing.

I can’t help regarding the training times. If possible it might be worth doing some test runs at varying quality settings - depending on the tone you’re capturing there may be no benefit to advanced training and you can save a lot of time training less, while still hitting the limit on how accurate the model is.

Have you ever seen a video or write up on how to save and reload recordings and where the file is? I would love to do it that way.
