Two Notes Reload II, with "Celestion-Approved Load"

Interesting.

it seems you can only plug in a single tube amp into its load, but it can be then split and amplified through a stereo solid-state poweramp?

It also has no built-in cab sim, but comes with the Two Notes software for that.

I’d like to see a measurement of the reactive load before I get too excited. It does look neat.
Yeah good features, nice of them to get a Celestion badge on it although given some of the tripe they’ve released I’d want some measurements and real world examples of that load. I don’t think it’s too difficult for them to get a decent sounding load though, so in theory this should be solid.

Signal flow from the manual:

The cab A/B controls are volume controls for the cab outs, and then you have separate levels for line outs, which you can use simultaneously for e.g recording while you monitor through your guitar speakers.

Seems like a smart design for people who might want to record with cab sims, but don't need cab sims live. Not having that stuff built in saves money and also keeps the signal all analog for the purists.

I know I'm being pedantic, but I really hate when they call these "attenuators". It's a load+reamp. Unless you want to say it's attenuating to line level, then reamping. Blah. :rofl

Attenuator is totally fine. I see it as describing the purpose of the unit. Reducing volume, or "attenuating volume".

"Reamper" or "loadbox + poweramp" just muddies the waters while not really providing much relevant info. The end user shouldn't have to think much about how it achieves volume reduction, just know that it does.

But I like being specific!

But seriously though, it's a very cool device (on paper, anyway). Look forward to hearing feedback on it, even though personally I don't have a ton of use for it (no amps).
