I haven't watched the video but I hope it was done in good faith.
I'd really be a dick if I ripped on people for enjoying gear that I personally don't; so long as you get some cool sounds and make good music I don't really care. Now if you go down the road of claiming that gear is superior, especially technically, or start ripping on other gear because you're getting paid to promote something, that is absolutely worthy of roasting.
Honestly looking at the TMP it does look like a pretty fun device to use. I like the big color screen, the skeumorphism, the rotary switch knobs, etc. If the sound lived up to the interface, I'd be taking a very hard look at trying one out.
Hell, I was looking at the physical Deluxe Reverb TM again last night and may head down to the store and give it a test drive later today.

I feel like I am just piling on when the pile has already dispersed.
Someone explain the 97% approval thing, I must have missed that part and it sounds hilarious...
I wouldn't be surprised if he divided the total number of video views by the number of thumbs-down to arrive at that 97%, based on some of his other "creative" conclusions he was pushing.Allegedly that was the approval percentage of the video. But I suspect that this came from the same people that are frothing at the mouth in the thread from hell.
Yup, but the channel owner can still see them. And there are ways you can still query them on other people's videos--it's just not there in the public-facing UI anymore.Didnt SJWTube hide the downvote numbers so you can;t see them anymore?

Fwiw I shared a comparison between the axe fx and the fm9 some time ago...Apologies if you already answered this and I missed it, but do you have a chart with an FM9 instead of an Axe-FX? I would think that would be a more direct comparison to a TMP.

You can find it here: https://thegearforum.com/threads/modelers-and-aliasing.1815/post-59756
Not really, from my graphs you can tell fm9's aliasing is ~18dB higher than axe fx (with one amp block), so I think we could safely assume in Cliff's test the signal/alias ratio would be ~57dB, still 25-30dB higher than the TMP.It's hard to tell, but that makes it look like the TMP isn't too bad compared to the FM9, and the FM9 comparison is the fair one, not the Axe-FX III.
