I’m guessing it’s a Landau thing.
But just don’t get the y2k finish (which is the unfinished forearm contour).
My assumption always been that it’s so you don’t get stuck on the guitar if you sweat like a beast.

My Tylerbastor, Burning Water Classic, and SE Hazmat Shmear all had finished forearm contour.
