The Strat Thread

I hold Suhr in very high regard. I have five of their guitars (the Classic S pictured above, a Classic T, a Standard HSS, a Modern HH with the Gotoh 1996t, and a Modern HSH with the Gotoh 510). Based on my experience, I don't think you'd be disappointed if you bought a Suhr. It might not be to your exact taste, but it won't be a bad guitar. Also, their customer service and warranty support is excellent. If there is something wrong they will fix it.

From what I have read from those whom have tried both, the Suhr bridge is almost indistinguishable from the Gotoh 510 that they were using previously.

I keep circling back to an Andy Wood Tele!

Those look like amazing guitars. When they announced the 10 year anniversary models earlier this year I absolutely loved this version:

I love my G&L. It’s a shame they went out of business. I have tried a few Fenders since getting this one but I always come back to the G&L. I love the bridge and the pickups, tuning stability is excellent, I don’t want to change a thing on it.

I've been GASsing for the whiskey barrel version of the Andy Wood tele since I first saw one, but they never seemed to be available. I "settled" for the Shabat which is one my favorite guitars, but I still occasionally dream of that AWT.

EDIT: Of course I find one available now on Reverb.
:facepalm

I’m definitely partial to his black one with the matte guard, but with two humbuckers and a floating trem I feel like it’s not really a Tele. He can make it sound like a Tele just fine, not sure I trust myself to do the same!
