The Sexy Single Pedal Thread

Very cool..

Can’t help it though… feels like she’s flexing her hard… thing there. I’d be careful about stepping on her…. thing :rofl

It was my very first distortion/od pedal too (3-knobber). Still have it although it's a bit finicky with the old circuit board and pot connections, it gets intermittent. I really should just rebuild it at this point.
Mine belonged to the rhythm guitarist in my band at the time.. he bought some new shiny pedal he was in love with and just gave it to me. I used it in recordings here or there, but its mostly just been tucked away because I feel its too cool and unique to sell.. I'm weird.

In some ways, the 3-knob version is more 'instant gratification' than its big brother. Love them all though.

I thought this thread is supposed to about a single fav pedal.

To quote the OP, "Gush about your favorite single pedal"

Not every pedal in your collection.

:horse
I've never been on a thread that stays on topic anywhere near 100%. The very nature of that premise is preposterous. Can't happen. Not won't. Can't.

Help me accept the things I cannot change...:grin

I always had one pedal that could produce a decent od tone on its own in to a good tube amp clean channel. The first one I had that could do it was a Ibanez Super Metal, but I’ve hade a few that work for this. GT2 , Wampler Pinnacle, 5150 overdrive, even a Metal Zone. They are never my actual rig but just for practice or jams were you don’t have your gear. It’s a lot easier now . I actually use a power rack Kemper for it now.

I no longer have it but it’s more like a tube screamer with more gain and full eq.
