The Pickups Thread

BS , try it. Digital is not all the signal and modelling is not all that is going on so grow up.

No, what you're writing is utter BS. And you have by now proven multiple times that it's not a discipline you should engage in.
And fwiw, as said umpteenth times before, I have been using both analog and digital rigs. There's *zero* reasons why differences between pickups wouldn't be fully displayed in a digital environment. And it speaks volumes that you can't even name a single reason yourself others than "digital is not all the signal" - which is just utter bogus.

So no more resolution possible?BS .
Every component and solder joint modelled down to the atom in a Helix. Utter BS.

Started as an EMG fan with my Steinberger, then graduated to the SD JB/59 combo. in my LP.

Now with over 30 guitars in my collection, I have a little bit of everything. My favorites are Throbacks, Lollar Imperials & Lollar P90s.

I prefer the SD noiseless single coils in my Starr custom strat over the Fender noiseless in my Strat Ultra.

The Suhr Thornbuckers in my Modern are great, as well as the SSH, SSH+, and V60 in my Strandberg.

The DiMarzio Dreamcatchers, Rainmakers and Illuminators are not very versatile, but do sound awesome in my Majesty and JP15.

I guess for my taste, variety is the spice of life.

My first aftermarket pickups were EMG's, of course. They were probably pretty damn good!

For a long time I thought I loved bare knuckle. Turns out I just liked the feeling I got from having expensive pickups. The black dogs were probably the best set of bkp I had. The others were just a midrangey mess with zero balls.

I got a Charvel with fishman fluence classics, and that was it. Exactly what I wanted: beautiful cleans and super chuggy. Decent single coil tones as well. Put a set in my seven string to replace my last bkp's and I couldn't have been happier. I have a set of abasis in my strandberg 8 and they're pretty good as well, better than the moderns.

I like EMG's as well for super low tuned chuggies, that's what I have in my steinberger baritone.

Because I got a gift card from a guitar shop that will also have a limited duration to be accepted and I have nothing else to spend there.

I don't want an amp and that would be way more than 150... Same for a guitar. Zero interest in pedals. The set up on this guitar is done and I only have 2 guitars and I only using this one.

So, why not?
What else?
