Yeah - that little unit's now a much better value proposition.I was gonna ask because it was hard sifting though the video to see what was actually updated lol
Huge update all considering though

And compressors. And global defeat IRs. Plus... more effects. It sounds like this is pretty much what "everyone" was hoping for from an update!
Having overdrives available makes this so much more usable for me, it was my biggest gripe with the unit until now.
I agree with you 100% but to be honest even if they had added only overdrives I would have been pretty happy being mainly a high gain player. And compressors. And global defeat IRs. Plus... more effects.
Today it seems, contrary to NDSP's track history:
Capture-only player with drives & effects etc. for nowAm way out of the loop on the NC ...... is it only a "Capture Player" ? -or- does it come with some modeled amps ? -and- how many blocks at once ?
Capture-only player with drives & effects etc. for now
Spot on - something in that vein. I don't know the specifics as I don't own one but I know it didn't come with a drive block at launch & effect variety was very limited. Looks like they fixed that today. Thanks :)
Does it work on the principle of "blocks" ie: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 etc..... a max. number ?
And, important, built-in capturing capability.Capture-only player with drives & effects etc. for now

Still fixed to Pre & Post blocks by the looks of it.Some Googling said 7 Blocks (?)
It does seem like a -massive- update :)
Do we know yet if there are still dedicated pre/post blocks or is it now any effect in any block in any order ?
Yeah that's a great update. The Nano Cortex finally starts to have some actual value for money to it.
There's some interesting caveats to the new fx tho. You can't have modulation or delay fx in the "pre" slots, only "post" slots for example.

It's 2x pre slots and 3x post slots.So is it something like 3 x pre slots and 4 x post slots ?

We’re extremely excited to announce the release of NanOS 2.0.0, the biggest update to Nano Cortex since launch.neuraldsp.com
