TGF Birthday Pedal Competition - discussion thread

So as it's the forum's birthday, I thought it would be fun to run a pedal giveaway. I'm thinking we should have a pedal draw and run it for a week. Lets keep this for a discussion thread and where we can announce the winner. I'll create another thread for the entries, all you have to do to enter is post. You can post whatever you like, write a poem, post a gif, call me a Behringturd, write a comment on the two Drews obsession with fleshlights. Any post at all will enter you in the draw. After a week I'll use a random number generator to determine the winning comment.

The winner will get a custom pedal built by me. They'll get to choose the circuit, artwork, enclosure colour, graphics, knobs, I'll even have options for component choice and internal wire colour. I build in batches so will include the winners build in my next batch.

Some examples of recent builds to give you an idea of the kind of pedal I like to build.

I'll get the pedal to the winner wherever they live in the world and just ask that they do a short audio or video demo, If they can.

No I'm purely a hobbyist builder and primarily build for myself and my mates. Once the pedal mountain gets a bit big I move some of them on but I don't do it to make money tbh.

Yes. I got two of them from Steve last year I think. I was a bit disappointed when I finished the MK1. You can see the decal edges under the resin which doesn't nornally happen. It sounds really great but I get annoyed at myself for having such an obvious flaw. Steve did a wonderful job making them, I did a less wonderful job finishing it.

I thought I'd channel some of the spirit from pedalpcb with a good old Fig style competition for this places birthday.

Sweet by a nose, but I'm not particularly fond of either one:

Excellent question. I am a huge fan of pickled red onions. But I also love pickled daikon, chicken mu, and pickled Persian cucumbers with sriracha. Not a huge fan of dill pickles, but other important people in my life love them, so they get a place in the fridge, too.
