TC Electronics Plethora X1

I’m sorry your feelings are hurt. Have a nice day, chief.
Didn't hurt my feelings bub. I don't fixate on what sucks. If it don't work FOR me I get rid of something. I don't fixate on deterring everyone else form making up their own mind. That futile, indeed. Different things work for different folks. I'm sure you have gear other people here wouldn't use. If that were the case with my opinion of your stuff, I just wouldn't choose to go on in on. It just loses its statement impact. But you do you.
Peace out brother.

:rofl

I actually get super tired of people that can't handle people saying what they think of stuff. I'm not talking out of my ass. As I've said, I've had a few of their pedals, and played most all of them. If you don't like it, ignore it then. I DGAF.

You're taking this shit WAY too seriously. I'm not trying to change anyone's mind. Use what you want to use.

You're going to get annoyed here a lot, FYI. No one here is shy with what they think of stuff. Because after all, this isn't saving the world. It's guitar gear.
It's all good dude, just leave it all in one post. You act like if you're disagreed with or ignored that the info you shared isn't read by someone it might influence, it is. You just tend to beat a dead horse, by posting more or less the same info/argument over and over. Be offend, but it's the truth.
Your opinion IS valid. TCE isn't Strymon or Eventide, but it has a niche or none of them would ever sell.

The internet is full of instances of people getting irritated with everyone else's irritations that don't match their own :rofl

To be clear, it wasn't directed towards you or PW. I've just been renoticing the phenomenon of people ranting about something one minute then correcting others about ranting about something 5 minutes later :rofl
My rants ARE EPIC and get me booted. As Larry Fine said, "I can play in 6 Flats, and thrown out of all of them"

For me, the biggest downside of the X3 has been that it doesn't even come with an EXP input. No way to tap in tempos (which is a crucial thing for me) with an external switch, and to do that with the unit's switches, you have to hold-press the switch in question. Only to end up with the tapped tempo not being valid globally but for the very delay loaded in that switch'es slot.
And it's not even getting better with the X5 - while it has an EXP input, from all I know it can't be used to tap a tempo.
That's really just uberlame. I mean, my old Zoom G3 can do that stuff.
FW 1.5 added a separate Tap/Tuner block that is real time. It eats a block but allows tap tempo availability w/o any special dance steps.
Make less sense for the X3 as you'd be left with Tap/long press Tuner, and a block for 2 other FX. Not the cleanest but better.
If only they integrated a EXP for a pedal or a FS to be programmable. Duh!
