I'm fine being wrong too. I guess I have to buy one and find out eventually...The pedal is definitely sounding pretty damn solid in comparison videos. Perhaps I was wrong.

What’s the significance of the 2290? Who used it what records, associated with a genre, etc.?![]()
Pretty much.Hasn't it populated like each and every 80s kitchen sink rig of whatever big guns?
Pretty much.
I think The Edge has 16 of them.
I was a bit skeptical but being a huge 2290 fan I had to grab one as soon as I could. Pretty solid with some nice new features.
Do you have the same hatred towards "FBI files" as me, because the detectives interviewed are LOUD AS FUCK compared to the nice narration...Which works out great, because I far prefer a positive attitude and charming accent to wake up with rather than the true crime murder crap I fall asleep to.![]()

Knowing tc as of lately it's probably a Flashback in a fancy dress...
Judging by the reviews and posts so far the 2290 p it was better than feared luckily, but I'll pass... :)Recently tried their re-issue SCF pedal and unfortunately was very disappointed. Here's hoping better luck with the 2290!
I think Leon has some 2290 stuff in his block library?Wow, some of those presets sounded huge! I generally don't 'roll my own' delays, but I'd like to take a chunk of my Saturday and learn how to get some of those sounds, myself, in my Axe III. @2112 , which videos of yours should I watch first?

Ok here's a deep dive with the Axe 2290 for anyone interested.
