Will be on the the way to the Metis homeland of Manitoba soon. How about I reveal another custom poker chips?

I thought you'd never ask!

QwwSGMK9_o.jpg

We are now at the halfway point. All the new reveals from now on are going to be the Flipsides!

If the night prowler vibe suits you, be on the lookout for "Midnight Blue" Python coming to Reverb tomorrow morning most likely.
I do have a few of these in various stages of completion, but was only able to complete this one today.

ILyX9n7Z_o.jpg

Python embossed leather all the way from Italy, with a nice snakey glitter to the scales. 3" wide, amply padded in the Well-Hung way, adjusts 44"-approx 58" so can go nice and long.

FlipSide chip reveal of the day... we are halfway done, now into the alternates! I don't think anybody has yet made a novelty poker chip/switch plate with two sides before, but I thought why not give it a try?

Here we reveal the reverse of Shame/Regret is Indica / Sativa and the flipside of Kama / Sutra is Fire / Fury

ALjDS9r2_o.jpg

The last time I offered these, Indica / Sativa was probably one of the more popular ones. No judging LOL!

Happy Hump day, hope you do!

Today I completed the rest of the Midnight Blue pythons, and cleaned up some reverb listings. Then this afternoon poked away at a hide I got in a couple weeks ago, wasn't sure what to do with it LOL! Interesting leather, looks different than I thought it was going to.

Anyway, for starters I made a floating pad strap out of it just because. Won't be listed on reverb until after the holiday weekend, but it's called "The Reptilian" and it goes 48"-62" - and despite your first thought, no... I did not name it after anyone here on TGF, but perhaps some
departing mods over on TOP - Yeah, I've had my run-ins over there too. It's a badge of honor. I think I only one strike against me now, I think one of them timed out recently. It's nice to be a member of a couple forums that ARE not rolled into The Conglomerate.

This hide has GREAT BIG scales on it, almost fish-like! Dark/muted gold/yellow, and gray/black scheme.
Quite natural looking/feeling actually. Lots of texture.

OK here's another poker chip reveal! Both sides of the second-from the left chips now revealed.

Closing the store for a bit, will be traveling... my post office is closing for four days here anyway.
I guess even they deserve a break LOL - Happy Easter may you be only as fertile as you wanna be.

Looks like I won't have 'em "in-hand" 'til Wednesday.
Then I'll be packaging, do up all the reverb listings etc.

Via Reverb:
$7US each
10 sides cream OR black $30US (5 toggle rings)
20 sides (all 10) $50

Plus ship: $14 US tracked
Will gladly combine ship with any strap or Pro-pins purchase.

Off-Reverb FORUM PRICE
(message me here)
5 black or 5 cream $30
Mix & Match any five (no repeats) $35 US
All ten rings (20 sides) $55
(Incl. shipping via regular snail mail in a typical envelope, un-tracked).

They are 34mm across with a 12.5mm center hole. Also .36 mm thick which is lower profile than typical. I believe they will install either over top your current plate (if you wish), or replace fully if that's your preference. Think of it as thinner library card pvc-type material. The last time I had these made they i went 1mm thick, and fielded a few complaints that they were too "beefy".

I will ship as quickly as humanly possible.

As far as the cream/ivory match? No guarantees but will be in "the neighborhood"

Easter may be over, but I had myself one of the more holey days I've had in a long time here in the StrapLab!

I punched so many holes into some shiny black leather this morning my arm is still sore!

But in the end I guess it was worth it. A couple weeks ago Josh asked if I could make a strap that would closely match his favorite stage performing shoes, which happen to be a pair of those black and white Oxford wingtip dealios. I have a pair of golf shoes like that once so quite familiar with the vibe. Sort of a classic two-tone tuxedo effect. And after six plus hours, it was done.

There's a few layers here, and he complicated things a bit by wanting something extra long, and extra shiny with the black... I had recently picked up some black... but had to order in the white. I don't work with white often. It does take a LOT of extra care on the bench.

Waiting to hear back if he uses straplocks or not. Goes as long as 62" - should be on the way to the formal gala tomorrow!

Today on the bench, some new mexi-blanket I found during my holiday travels. My long-sufferin' wife puts up with all manner of stops and diversions when we travel, and I am grateful!

It's actually the very blanket I've been seeking for years now. Four new "Bandido - La Tierra" should be complete and in the Reverb store tomorrow. One of my favorite straps I make, and just a pure joy to wear. Great earthy colours here, golden brown, milk chocolate and black.

Late yesterday I started on a 4" wide Metis sash strap... I don't know if it's going up on reverb, might be a faster sale via my local guitar store, as there is a local Metis settlement nearby. This one was finished early in the day today.

This feedback of "Old Glory" by John in California... just in today

ULrY7NgP_o.jpg

I like that fact Johnny pointed out the uniqueness of my strap designs. Not just unique in form, but also HIGHLY practical in function - at least I think so. "No small amount of design tweaking and thought" has also gone in to building these. They feel so right on the shoulder, I believe a Well-Hung guitar strap is very likely the one you've been searching for and have yet to find, right here in front of you.

Give me a try!

Behind the scenes here I'm on pins and needles, still waiting for those dang Poker Chips, turns out the package was not completed with all the address info (partially my fault for not checking), so it's been floating around withing 30 miles of the final destination for a week. Then I go to the UPS website to change it to proper, and after creating an account and five attempts to redirect, I ended up spending many minutes on the phone with automated message trees until I finally called a "secret" number i found which reached an actual person ready to help with totally unrelated issues. This person however, was able to calm me down, talk me off the ledge and redirect my call to another person LOL! This person also put me on musical hold for quite a time, then redirected me ONE FINAL TIME... and with that last lovely lady, I was finally able to get it done. Sheesh!

Boy-oh-boys... all this transportation business these days is such a crazy, silly dance.

But, I hope to have the damn toggle plates in my hand tomorrow, and soon up on Reverb.
I'm thinking MONDAY for sure!

This morning I completed the "La Tierra" Bandidos and they are now up on Reverb.
Just such great earthy colours! These are among my comfiest straps, and go into the 60 and longer territory for all you shape-throwing maniacs

vBsQds3U_o.jpg

I also have some supahot new stickers coming too... I've had 'em almost every year I've been in operation...
Seems to be a "thing" in the music gear business... but I can tell you the ones on the way are truly my spiffiest yet!
Can't wait to show 'em off, and start dropping 'em into Well-Hung packages. I think we all appreciate a cool decal.

Happy Thursday!

Shields up!

Flashy new chrome FX decals are IN THE HOUSE!

ZBMHv7UM_o.jpg

So stoked with these, I'm going to send a PAIR of these out with every W-H package 'til the end of the month. Get on 'er!
Also, I've been waiting a lonnnng for my ship to come in.... sadly, instead, only a bunch of chips arrived.

EoU6KABJ_o.jpg

Message me here, (not on reverb) and I can shoot you a full set (ALL 10 double-sided chips) for $50 US - INCLUDES SHIPPING (snail mail not tracked) UN-FREAKIN-BELIEVABLE, I know! Normally, these run about $10-12 a side before rather expensive shipping.

This offer limited to the first FIVE full sets requested by my TGF bros. MESSAGE ME HERE, not on Reverb.

Finished a custom Cowboy Prayer for Todd in Ontario... sad tale. Todd had collected maybe five or six of my pieces, and had a basement flood this spring. When the cleanup crew left, suspiciously his strap collection was missing too. BOOOOOO! With the situation, he's out so much cash, he's got no dough left to even fight them in court. What a terrible situation.

Anyway, we decided that his first one to start the rebuild of the stable should be his favorite, which was his Cowboy Prayer

New in the store is a set of "High Society" straps based on 2024 success, only a different colour leather this time.

CZDLScR0_o.jpg

They are silky/shiny with a great damask/almost alien embroidered pattern on them in great guitar colours.
Black, oxblood, dark burgundy red and old gold. very sharp! They sold off really fast last summer.

0iCCUrim_o.jpg

Go as long as 46"-60"
Last day for my double-dip decal deal; on flashy new sticker, and don't forget my fun new two-faced switch ring collection now in the store

4XUdIjJD_o.gif

Happy hump day!

TGP brother DG down Georgia way did himself proud this morning by pickin' "Whippin' Post" out of my back stock in the Reverb store.

LgedrIHd_o.jpg

Packed 'er up and it was on the way within a couple of hours. I included a XL W-H tee this time, because while I consider including with a double or triple strap purchase, this particular piece was the most pricey one in my inventory! This is due to that aged brass tone antenna ring, which are exceedingly hard to come by, getting harder by the year, and prices reflect that. The ring on this one is perfectly aged, and a bit smaller than the normal 6" one the true replicas come with, this one won't constantly bonk into your fretting arm like an "official" sized one tends to do.

Other differences with my version? This one in black leather, gorgeous heavier stuff, and it's padded, lined and stitched too. Also features a way, way, WAY improved Class-Act back buckle affair that gives this strap much more flexibility and practicality. Congrats DG. and thank you!

Today new in the store is "The Undecided" my play on "The Unforgiven" LOL!

It's another fairly rare braided/woven strap... 17 or 18 strands, in black/mahogany and tan.
2-3/4" wide, it's also padded!

gsN2GlXh_o.jpg

Super range of adjustment as it adjusts around 10 inches in the front, AND the back. so approx 42-62. Braided leather straps are strong, flexy and sexy! Class Act pass-thru on the back. Chonky 4" wide buckle up front. It's got big signature strap potential, and as a No Prisoners sling, this is the only one that will ever be made.

iZlJLx8X_o.jpg

It's now up in the reverb store. Don't forget to message me about Pro-Pins or my latest new product, FlipSide Poker chips, perfect to dress out and personalize your pauls, SGs or whatevers!

Totally available in singles (each one is double sided), but the best way to save is to get them in sets... Creams, Blacks, or THE WORKS!

rDuiuhjJ_o.jpg

Today new in the shop is "HellFire" based on the underwhelming non-success of a recent similar strap called "Bayou."
I decided to double down on my fail LOL! I love this design, and wanted to see if maybe if the red one is gonna be the play?

KKc5ad5F_o.jpg

This is hand-bursted-by-me dark red croc embossed cowhide on black moto leather.
Clearcoated the croc, added four 20mm conchos with black cabochons and some small nickel rivets.
Looks like a dark cherry fire is burning deep within. Great for one of those Heritage Cherry SGs or whatever I figure.
I only had time to do one of these, as I have other stuff going on in the shop besides.

UuO0URuR_o.jpg

Anyway, it's all up in the Reverb store with plenty more pics, too.
Hope your Tuesday ain't no bluesday, 'less you wanted it that way

Today I completed something I haven't had in the store for a while - a Rebellion Métis Sash strap! Recently made a bunch for an outfit in Winnipeg, but figured My store could use one too.
This one is a bit different as I went with a "Moose-Hidey" suede on the nose and tail... just looks like traditionally done moosehide, but it's actually cowhide.

TQjClBZA_o.jpg

There's a ton of history behind this sash, and each colour has particular cultural significance, all that is listed
in the Reverb listing. This is 3" wide, nicely padded and goes 44-57' long. I really like the trad moosehide look on this.

vRiMUT8k_o.jpg

Lastly, I'm gonna toot my horn a bit, ok well allow somebody else to do it. If you aren't using Pro-pins, (my own design strap buttons)
and are feeling a little doubt about the security of your rig... Get you some right away! This feedback came in yesterday.

PwFAswnW_o.jpg

Way way WAY more elegant than clunky, noisy straplock gadgets, no extra parts, grub screws, ball bearings, lube... all that maintenance stuff.
Also they won't suddenly pop off or jack your screw loose like beer washers can. Plenty of room for even the thickest thick strap ends,
and they work great with every brand of strap I've tried them with. Plus no wibble-wobbly screw... very tight shaft for the longer screw.
These are all good things you need in your life. Give them a try. I have them in gold, black and nickel.

Hey my old friend @Chocol8 --- saw you on another thread here a couple weeks ago, probably saying something smart-assy recently, then forgot again you were here! Is your gal still plucking the thunder-pumper?

She has not been lately. Got busy (and crowded) at school so the bass is at home at the moment.
