Oh I love me some Rectifiers. It's more so how much juice I'd miss without the Mesa's power amp modes the actual amp adds into the mix.

I have it in my Syn20-IR and with the Structure and Reactance tweaking I think it sounds great. Bedroom lvls of course and honestly the 20-IR can be too loud for bedroom lvls but I am sure if you tried to take it to practice or a gig it would start to fart out.

If anything; it would go with my pedalboard and use the baked in cab sim and go direct to my Yamaha wedge.

Not sure how the power amp stuff would be in that case for sure, but like I said with the power amp settings in the 20-IR it feels like different power amps IMO.

Anyone here have the Drect module? Thinking about a mostly analog desktop rig I can use in conjunction with my pedalboard.

I have one and I like it a lot. It is tighter and clearer than a real Recto. Best with a boost, like the real amp.

Lots of great clippage out of them. I'd be most interested in hearing the baked in cab emulation if anything.

I have it. I quite like it but keep in mind my fave Rectos are OG T-verbs.

But for over the top stuff I prefer either Kali, UltraLead or Herbert.

Those OG Tremoverbs were way better than any other Recto from that time imho.

Ditto on that I way prefer other options form other companies these days for gainier tones.

I have never used the cab sim on the Syn-2.

I'm thinking about buying a SYN-20IR. Is it possible to bypass the power amp section and use a larger wattage amp, basically using it as a SYN-1?

You can run the FX Send of the SYN-20IR into an external power amp, DAW interface, or modeler, effectively bypassing the internal power section, just turn the master to 0.

There is an official Peavey 5150 module.

I don't have the Peavey module but I have not seen/herd anyone complain about it.

My first 2 modules were the SOLO II and the Savage. Later I found out the Savage module isn't really what a Savage sounds like. It it still a great high gain sound but others say it's not close, I have not been able to touch a real Savage so that is just from other comments.

These are my current moduels not out on loan. The only one so far I have not really jived with is the PittBull, I think I just need to spend more time with it though.

My friend did and I will get it. I think he over printed them for density . I also ordered kitchen cabinet door bumpers to stick on the corners that grip good enough to make the stacks stable.

Looks correct. FYI these are tight, the module will not slip out, you will need to pull.

I will ask my friend if he will print more and what his price is if anyone is interested. He is in the US.

I disliked the SLO II, but I want to try it again, I think, in my second rack where I have the masters down lower and can crank the module volumes up more to see if I get better results.
