Synergy Owners Thread

I don't have the Peavey module but I have not seen/herd anyone complain about it.

My first 2 modules were the SOLO II and the Savage. Later I found out the Savage module isn't really what a Savage sounds like. It it still a great high gain sound but others say it's not close, I have not been able to touch a real Savage so that is just from other comments.

These are my current moduels not out on loan. The only one so far I have not really jived with is the PittBull, I think I just need to spend more time with it though.
I have all these except the VH4, Savage, and SLO II, but instead have the Be-Dlx, 6505, and Killer Kali 😀

Have all the Synergy modules except AC20, Zwreck and ToneKing… Also have a Salvation Camerock but no other ‘MTS’ modules. Definitely a ton of fun. My Plexi module is modded since I have the JMP. So technically I guess I don’t have an OG Plexi. I may mod my HBE as well since I have the BE-Dlx.

I am waiting to see if they do a DSL/JVM module. Something more in the modded 800 camp instead of the modded Plexi camp.

I love Marshall and Marshall based sounds, but I kind of don't want Synergy to do anymore unless it is a very different flavor of Marshall (ie, something you can't get from a Marshall, Friedman, etc).

I think at namm they said a Marshall made 800 and Synergy made Rockerverb are next.
A Rockerverb AND 800?

im horny jack nicholson GIF

I have considered a SLO II, but not sure if it would be much different than the 6505 and Drect to spend the money. I have also considered one of the Diesels, but not sure if I would like the Diesel sound.
The VH4 was one of the amps in my Crab Dragon amp and it was my favorite channel on that amp so after I got rid of it I grabbed the module and it did not disappoint. The German high gain amps are some of my favorites though so I am biased.

They don't really have anything that does high gain modded 800 right now, that is not far away like a SLO or something.

The only German thing I have is the Powerball. I do like it, but generally like the 6505 better for a similar thing.

How about the Killer Kali module?
Someone posted that they thought the voicing is more like modded Plexi. I have Killer Kali and the JMP and there is some overlap and I can see where those comments came from. Kali can get more modern and has more harmonic and high end content than the JMP, but voicings are kind of in the same ballpark. Killer Kali just has a bit more. Lol

I think the Killer Kali—with all its flexibility—is a really cool module, and that it covers the modern Fortin reinterpretation of a Jose-modded Marshall JCM800 pretty well.

But I see now that @Shask already has the Killer Kali module and was looking for something else. Fair enough!

The Marshall thing is covered fairly extensively. They need more that isn't Marshall based.

They have a lot of them that is based on the Plexi circuit, but none are really based on the 800 circuit.

I would like to see a 900 SL-X, DSL, or JVM type thing. Modern modded 800 sound.

As for different, I am curious to see how the RV is gonna be.

Yeah, the KK is killer, but it is not as crunch as a 800 type circuit.

The Uber Blue channel is probably the closest I have. It kind of has that modded 800 type thing.
